Library SLO Liaison
Kathy Headtke, Faculty Librarian, is the library liaison to the Learning Outcomes and Assessment Committee. Kathy may be reached at email@example.com.
The library’s mission is to support all Allan Hancock College students and staff with both immediate research needs and the development of information literacy skills, to enhance lifelong learning. In addition, the library is the campus “center of learning,” with a welcoming atmosphere conducive to studying and learning.
Library Services SLOs
Allan Hancock College students will be able to:
Navigate a physical or virtual library to find a variety of resources to answer information needs.
Use the research process to efficiently locate and use the most appropriate source of information for a problem or question.
Evaluate the quality of information sources for bias, currency, authority, accuracy, and coverage.
Use information ethically by citing sources, not representing work attributable to others as their own, and requesting permission for use of copyrighted materials.
