Welcome to YOUR Library
Welcome to the Library! We hope you use this LibGuide to remind you of some of the many resources available for research on graphic novels (and other topics).
Come visit a library (on the Santa Maria campus or the Lompoc Valley Center) to find books, "reference" materials, magazines, journals, music cds, dvds and librarians ready to help you find what you want or need.
Also visit our online library at www.hancockcollege.edu/library -- you'll find ebooks, magazine and journal articles, streaming videos and more 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
So, don't procrastinate. Start your research at the library, or you can contact us online via our new Chat Reference service.
Sometimes we might not have what you want or need. We offer an interlibrary loan (ILL) service and can order books or journal articles from other colleges and universities for you. Don't wait too long to ask because it may be a few days or even weeks before the item arrives. To request a book or journal article from another library:
- Call 805 922-6966 ext. 3224,
- Fill out the Interlibrary Loan Request form, or
- Visit the checkout counter in the Santa Maria or Lompoc Valley Center library.
